(Kuching, 31st) Regarding the recent misleading statements issued by Sarawak DAP, without verification, claiming that the elderly health welfare funds are being misused, Huang Xiao Qi, the Educational Secretary of SUPP Central Women's Wing, strongly condemns the political tactics of Sarawak DAP and urges the people of Sarawak to remain vigilant against such low-level manipulation tricks.
She pointed out that Sarawak DAP hastily held a press conference without conducting a comprehensive investigation, accusing the Sarawak Welfare Department and using the media to stoke the situation. They are trying to create dissatisfaction with the Sarawak Government to gain political benefits. This behavior not only shows that Sarawak DAP lacks basic insight but also exposes their consistent political tactic of exaggerating facts to attract attention.
“Sarawakians must realize that the focus of Sarawak DAP has never been on solving problems, but on how to utilize issues to create topics, thereby gaining traction for their propaganda. This method of exploiting public trust and sacrificing the credibility of administrative institutions does not meet the basic standards of a responsible political party.”
Therefore, SUPP Women's Wing calls on the people of Sarawak to beware of similar low-level manipulation tactics by Sarawak DAP. They do not solve problems, but rather use the difficulties of the people to exacerbate conflicts, all to pursue their political interests. This not only fails to provide actual help to the populace but also increases societal misunderstanding and unease.
