(Kuala Langat, 1st) A daycare teacher is suspected of abusing a two-year-old girl and has been arrested by the police.
Kuala Langat District Police Chief Akma Riza issued a statement indicating that after receiving a report from the girl's mother at 9 PM on August 24, the police arrested the 38-year-old female teacher involved on the same day.

The incident occurred at a daycare center in Bandar Rimbayu, Kuala Langat.
He stated that the teacher hit the girl's head with a water bottle and a feeding bottle, and dragged her from the classroom to the bathroom by her foot.
“On August 22, the girl's mother reviewed CCTV footage and confirmed that the incident did indeed take place.”
He said that after being detained for five days, the suspect has now been released on verbal bail.
Akma Riza said that the police are investigating the case under Section 31(1) of the 2001 Child Act, which pertains to parents and guardians neglecting the care of a child, thereby exposing the child to danger.
He stated that anyone from the public with further information may visit the nearest police station or call 03-31872222 to contact the Kuala Langat police district to assist with the investigation.
