Gong Yoo recently got 'wounded' by a gift prepared by the youngest staff member in his filming team. On the 14th, he shared on his Instagram Stories a picture of cookies he received, on which a handwritten note read: 'For Uncle Dong Gu' (his character's name in the drama). However, for Song Hye Kyo (who plays Min Ja), also at the filming site, the label read 'For Sister Min Ja'. Though the two are only two years apart in age, their forms of address could not be more different.
On the 14th, Gong Yoo updated his Instagram Stories, showing several packs of cookies as gifts, marked with 'For Uncle Dong Gu'. These five words left him somewhat helpless: 'I am really very grateful... but Dong Gu is 'Uncle', while Min Ja is 'Sister'?' His tone was full of humorous jealousy, making fans immediately see through his 'little feeling of grievance'.
Currently, Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo are filming the new drama 'Gradually, Passionately', written by Noh Hee Kyung. Set in the South Korean entertainment industry during the 1960s-80s, the story tells of a group of artists pursuing their dreams amid turbulent times, which brings many child actors and staff to the set.
