Carrying 3215 People, Adora MV Mediterranean Cruise Ship Arrives in Brunei

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) The Adora MV Mediterranean cruise ship arrived at Brunei's Muara Port on the afternoon of the 30th of this month, carrying 2,487 passengers and 728 crew members. Travelers immediately embarked on a half-day sightseeing tour to explore the scenic and cultural attractions of Brunei.
On that day, approximately 80 guides and translators, along with over 60 buses from Brunei's Happy Holidays travel agency, were mobilized to provide reception and sightseeing services for cruise passengers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable itinerary.
The Brunei Tourism Development Board, Brunei Happy Holidays travel agency, and Muara Port are making comprehensive reception arrangements for the visit of this cruise ship, striving to provide efficient and high-quality services for tourists.

During their stay in Brunei, tourists visited several iconic landmarks and tourist attractions, deeply experiencing the rich cultural heritage and natural scenery of the area. Through interactive explanations by guides, they not only appreciated the blend of traditional and modern cityscapes of Brunei but also felt the unique tranquility and hospitality of this Southeast Asian nation.
Even though the stay was short, the sightseeing itinerary was well-organized and comprehensive, covering culture, history, nature, and humanity aspects. On that day, these tourists, led by guides, will visit several famous attractions in Brunei in batches, including a view of Istana Nurul Iman, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Royal Regalia Museum, Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, The Mall shopping plaza, Onecity shopping center, Jerudong Royal Polo Club, Jerudong Park Playground, and the Sultan's Golden Jubilee Park.

The Adora MV Mediterranean is the 10th international cruise ship to arrive in Brunei this year. It set sail from Singapore and arrived smoothly at Muara Port on April 30, with a half-day sightseeing itinerary arranged for passengers during its stay. After this Brunei visit, the cruise will continue its journey to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
The first docking of this cruise ship in Brunei in December 2024 marks the gradual enhancement of Brunei's status in the regional cruise travel market. The Adora MV Mediterranean also plans to visit Brunei again on November 30, 2025, continuing to bring international tourists to the region and promoting the development of the tourism industry.
