US Secretary of State Rubio stated on the 28th that the US will 'aggressively' revoke Chinese students' visas, including students connected to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields.

For a long time, Chinese students have been a major source of revenue for American universities.

Rubio said, 'The State Department will work with the Department of Homeland Security to actively revoke the visas of Chinese students.'

He noted in a statement that the US Department of State will also modify visa application criteria to strengthen the review of all future visa applications from China and Hong Kong.

Earlier, US media quoted an internal government communication signed by Rubio, stating that to prepare for expanding the scope of social media review, consular sections should not add any student or exchange visitor visa appointment slots until further notice.

Harvard University's foreign student ratio should be limited to around 15%

Additionally, US President Trump stated on the 28th that Harvard University's foreign student ratio should be limited to around 15%.

He noted that many people in the US want to enter Harvard and other schools but are unable to because of foreign students.

He also continued to request Harvard University to submit a list of foreign students.

He told the media at the White House that Harvard University must present its list of foreign students to the federal government. Harvard University has about 31% foreign students, and the US government wants to know where these students are from and whether they are 'troublemakers' or likely to engage in extreme behavior.

He said many of the foreign students are 'troublemakers' incited by 'radical left-wing lunatics' in this country.
