Royal Brunei Police Holds Briefing Session on Human Trafficking Crimes

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) The Royal Brunei Police Force, to raise public awareness on combating human trafficking crimes and to promote related initiatives, recently conducted a roadshow briefing session on human trafficking crimes through its Criminal Investigation Department’s Human Trafficking Investigation Unit for 31 frontline personnel, including airport police officers and lower-ranking members. 
The main objective of this briefing session was to enhance the ability to identify the elements and signs that constitute victims of human trafficking crimes and to provide a more detailed understanding. The content of the briefing included introducing the functions and roles of the Attorney General's Chambers and sharing cases of human trafficking crimes that have fulfilled all the required elements since its establishment on August 16, 2011. The briefing session was conducted by officials and members of the Attorney General's Chambers.
