(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) In celebration of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei's 79th birthday, the Brunei-Muara District International Chess Championship Executive Committee, the Brunei International Chess Federation, and OneCity Shopping Centre will jointly hold the 2025 His Majesty's 79th Birthday International Chess Festival this Sunday (28th).
This competition will take place at OneCity Shopping Centre, with tournament categories including Open, Youth (Under 18), Youth (Under 16), Youth (Under 14), Youth (Under 12), Adult (Under 50), Adult (Under 65), and Women's divisions.
Participants from Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Kazakhstan will also be joining the competition.
