Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar stated that on the 15th, during talks with the Indian military, the Pakistani military agreed to extend the ceasefire to the 18th.
He informed the parliament that there was a "military-to-military communication" between India and Pakistan on the 14th and 15th, and both sides will extend the ceasefire until May 18.
India Continues to Suspend the 'Indus Waters Treaty'
On the other hand, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar stated on the 15th that India will continue to suspend the execution of the 'Indus Waters Treaty' between the two countries until Pakistan ends "cross-border terrorism."
Following a shooting incident targeting tourists in the Indian-controlled Kashmir region last month, which resulted in at least 26 deaths, India announced the suspension of the 65-year-old 'Indus Waters Treaty', a treaty that ensures 80% of Pakistani farms have access to water.
India also launched "Operation Vermilion" at dawn on the 7th to precisely target Pakistani terrorists, to which Pakistan subsequently retaliated. Both sides announced a ceasefire on the 10th.
