Joint Multi-Agency Law Enforcement Operation in Ugong Village, Temburong District

(Temburong, 8th) The Royal Brunei Police Force Temburong District in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies conducted a joint operation at a residence in Ugong Village, Temburong District.
This operation involved a total of 25 personnel and was led by Temburong District Police Assistant Superintendent of Criminal Investigation, Ahmad Faizd, with participation from the Temburong District Police Station, Royal Customs and Excise Department (JKED), and assistance from the Criminal Intelligence Department.
During the operation, the Royal Customs and Excise Department seized contraband items, including 69 cartons and 12 packs of cigarettes of various brands.
Both suspects involved (one local resident and one foreign national) have been summoned to the Kuala Belait Royal Customs and Excise Department Investigation Unit for further investigation.
In addition, the Temburong District Police Station uncovered multiple cases of violations of environmental sanitation regulations, as well as several violations of house rental conditions and activities affecting the harmony and peace of local residents.
This comprehensive operation is part of the authorities’ ongoing efforts to ensure the enforcement of laws, maintain public safety, and safeguard community welfare.
