(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) The Criminal Investigation Department’s Cybercrime Investigation Unit (BSJS) held a briefing titled "Online Fraud" at Hyatt Borneo Management Services Company as part of the police’s ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime.
This briefing was delivered by Inspector Adining, with a total of 41 company employees in attendance.
The focus of the briefing was to increase employees’ awareness of online fraud tactics and explain how to avoid becoming victims.
The session emphasized identifying fake websites, fraudulent investment scams, impersonation of banks or government officials, as well as online sales scams.
