(Bandar Seri Begawan, 5th) St. Andrew's School successfully held a two-day Platinum Jubilee Carnival recently, where students, parents, alumni, and the public gathered together to celebrate the school's Platinum Jubilee.
The carnival transformed the campus into a vibrant and lively venue suitable for all ages, featuring more than 55 exciting booths offering food, drinks, games, and various activities for visitors of all age groups. Highlights included an animal interaction area, cosplay competition, carnival games, inflatable castles, photo booth, go-karting, laser tag, and many other entertainment options, allowing families to fully enjoy the weekend.
This event attracted numerous visitors, including current students, parents, alumni, and broader community members. Such a grand occasion truly reflected the deep connection between St. Andrew's School and the generations of families it has served over the past 70 years.
The carnival officially kicked off on the morning of June 27, with the opening ceremony hosted by the Chairman of the Board of St. Andrew's School, Mr. Wang, and his wife. This opening marked the start of two days of celebrations, networking, and community spirit exchange. Activities ran from morning till evening over both days.
At the opening ceremony, the school expressed heartfelt thanks to all volunteers, board members, staff, parents, students, alumni, and guests, acknowledging that it was everyone's unwavering support that made the carnival such a huge success.
