(Seria, 1st) With the approaching arrival of the Lunar Year of the Wood Horse, the school today organized a team of Board of Directors, teaching staff, and employees to visit Seria, Kuala Belait, Lumut, and Sungai Liang areas for Chinese New Year greetings and fundraising visits, sending early festive wishes to all sectors of the Chinese community. All funds raised from this event will be fully used to optimize campus facilities and enhance teaching resources, creating a higher-quality learning environment for students. We earnestly request generous donations from all sectors of society to help ensure the sustainable development of Chinese education.
Meanwhile, the school will hold the Auspicious Lion Eye-dotting and Blessing Ceremony on February 4th (Wednesday) from 7:00pm to 9:30pm at the Secondary Section Jubilee Hall. Honorary Advisors, Board Members, and respected community members are invited to dot the eyes of the new lion and hang red ribbons, symbolizing good fortune and lasting blessings. Parents, alumni, and members of the public are cordially invited to attend and celebrate an auspicious new year together.
At the start of the new spring, the school's Lion Dance Troupe will launch the Lion Dance Blessing and Chinese New Year Celebration on the first day of the Lunar New Year (February 17th). The troupe will make house calls to offer blessings and bring festive cheer to all. To ensure the safety of troupe members and maintain performance quality, this year’s show will focus on traditional 'Cai Qing' (plucking the greens), and we kindly ask not to request high-difficulty or dangerous actions.
If you wish to book a lion dance performance, please call the school’s reservation line: 3222383 for scheduling arrangements.
