(Miri, 21) YB Dato Dennis Ngau, ADUN N77 Telang Usan, attended the 'Establishment of Society and Installation Ceremony' organized by Long Lama Ji Ze Ge Moral Uplifting Society on the 19th, where he highly praised the establishment of the Moral Uplifting Society, calling it a major blessing for the local residents. He also expressed gratitude for the Society's continuous efforts in promoting charity and donation activities over the years.
He pointed out that Long Lama is a region inhabited by multiple ethnic groups, including Kayan, Chinese, Kenyah, Penan, Kelabit, and Iban people. In the past, logging activities sparked ethnic conflicts, but nowadays, with social progress and the positive influence of religion, such conflicts have become history.

Denniss Ngau also mentioned that due to the remoteness and inconvenient transportation of Telang Usan, residents have poorer economic conditions. Although the government is striving to improve infrastructure, due to high costs and long distances, road construction can only progress gradually. He especially thanked Sarawak Premier Abang Johari for securing resources for the development of remote areas, and called on all sectors of society to jointly support the local economy and infrastructure construction.
Additionally, he mentioned that the Sarawak government's acquisition of FlyWings Air under Malaysia Airlines will provide more affordable flight services for residents in remote areas, facilitating travel and supporting more social activities.
He hopes the Moral Uplifting Society can organize more activities in the future to promote moral education in the community, helping young people establish correct values.
Dennis Ngau emphasized that participating in the Moral Uplifting Society does not involve changing religious beliefs but is aimed at promoting good values and enhancing social harmony.
He called on people of all ethnicities to unite and collaborate to promote social progress and contribute to the development of the Long Lama area.
