Long Lama Ji Ze Ge Founding and Furnace Establishment Ceremony

(Miri, 21st) The Long Lama Ji Ze Ge Moral Uplifting Society held a "Founding and Furnace Establishment Ceremony" last Sunday (19th) in the morning, attracting distinguished guests and supporters from all over Malaysia and Singapore to gather and witness this historic moment.

The founder and leader of the society, Penghulu Desmond Yap Cheng Siang, mentioned in his speech that Long Lama town has a history of 120 years, and this is the first time the town has welcomed guests from all over the country to participate in such a grand event. He especially thanked Datuk Dennis Ngau, the state assemblyman of Telang Usan, and the guest representative Mr. Yang Honglin, for adding grace to the event.

Yap Cheng Siang pointed out that the core mission of establishing Ji Ze Ge is to provide assistance to the community, adhering to the teachings of the master, with moral education as the central task. He emphasized that in today's society, information is complex, and it is difficult to tell the true from the false. Ji Ze Ge hopes to cultivate a harmonious society filled with love and respect through education.

He also revealed that Ji Ze Ge plans to strengthen charitable work, especially to assist poor families and the B40 group, including setting up moral education classes and fundraising for coffins to meet the actual needs of the community. He also called on representatives to help convey relevant demands to government departments to strive for more resource support.

He added that Ji Ze Ge is committed to accepting all ethnic groups, whether Chinese, Kayan, Iban, or Penan, and regardless of religious beliefs. The goal is to cultivate a disciplined, loving, and socially contributing group and spread this spirit to wider areas through this platform.

“Today's event was successfully held, thanks to the supporters from all over Malaysia and Singapore, as well as the assistance of moral societies from various places. Without their support, we would not have been able to accomplish this important milestone.”

Finally, he called on distinguished guests and community members to continue supporting the work of Ji Ze Ge and stated that as the founder and leader, he still needs to learn from predecessors and will continue to work hard in the future to bring greater benefits to the community.
