Three-time Best Actor Gallen Lo settled in Mainland China after his contract with TVB ended, developing his career there. Last year, after a gap of 27 years, he held a concert in Guangzhou and admitted that after achieving this dream, he plans to release a Hi-Fi album. He has continued to appear in dramas from both China and Hong Kong, with his most recent being the 2024 series "Modern Dynasty: The Heir" alongside Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Cho. His last TVB drama was the 2017 business-themed "Bet Hur,” co-starring Ali Lee and Jacqueline Wong.
Returning to his “home base” to star in a TVB production after nearly ten years, he is now expected to make his comeback to TVB through "Model" (tentative title), exciting many drama fans who are eagerly awaiting his return.
On the 28th, Gallen Lo openly confirmed in an interview with on.cc: "Discussions for this drama are indeed underway, and I hope we can successfully collaborate. It's also been a long time since I worked with Chong Shu-Kai; we previously worked together on 'Old Time Buddy.'" When asked about his requirements for making a comeback, he laughed and said that apart from having a good script, the most important thing is to have fun filming. He also praised Chong Shu-Kai as an outstanding producer, not only highly professional but also extremely trustworthy.
