According to an official report from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, China, a fire broke out at a ground-floor commercial property, resulting in 8 deaths and 3 injuries.
The People's Government of Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, announced on its official website that at around 3:40 am, a fire occurred at a ground-floor commercial property in Haigang District, Qinhuangdao. Firefighting, emergency response, health, and public security departments rushed to the scene to carry out emergency rescue operations.
By 4:30 am, the open flames at the scene had been extinguished. The accident resulted in eight deaths, and three people were sent to the hospital for treatment. The injured are currently in stable condition. An investigation into the cause of the accident and follow-up work are ongoing.
