A Boeing plane from Korean Jeju Air crashed into a wall upon landing on Sunday, resulting in a serious casualty incident. Earlier on Friday (27th), passengers who had taken the same flight reported that the plane's engine had malfunctioned that day.
The crashed aircraft is a 737-800 model, manufactured in August 2009, with an age of 15 years.
On December 27, the passenger was on flight 7C2216, which was the same aircraft involved in the accident, returning to Korea from Bangkok, Thailand, with his family.
He noted that the engine stalled multiple times then, and the flight attendants said there was no problem, but the flight was delayed by one hour before taking off.
Other passengers had also expressed their concerns, but the plane continued to operate as usual and completed the journey without further issues, safely arriving at Muan Airport.
No one expected that just a few days later, this aircraft would meet with an accident.
