The Outstanding Young Persons Award Inspires Youth to Bring Change Through Action

(Miri, 17th) Miri Junior Chamber International (JCI Miri) President Yang Jun Neng stated that the Outstanding Young Persons Award is not only a recognition of young people's achievements, but also an important platform to inspire the new generation to bring about change through action and to inspire society.
He made these remarks last night while attending the "Announcement Dinner of the Top 30 Finalists for the 2025 Malaysia Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award" organized by JCI Miri at the Eastwood Golf Club’s Eastwood Banquet Hall.

Yang Jun Neng said that JCI Miri positions itself in the community as "social entrepreneurs," combining entrepreneurial spirit with social responsibility, proving that business success and social impact can develop hand in hand.
He also expressed his gratitude to Organizing Chairperson Wong Cheng Liang and his team for their efforts, as well as to National Organizing Chairperson for the Outstanding Young Persons Award, Yang Jun Ting, for her dedication and passion throughout the preparation of the event, which ensured a smooth execution.
"The Top 30 finalists of the Outstanding Young Persons Award have proven that leadership is not a position, but an action. Your stories will inspire more people to have the courage to take responsibility, serve actively, and demonstrate leadership."
Yang Jun Neng also revealed that upcoming events organized by JCI Miri include the flagship project "Business Networking 4.0” tomorrow night (August 17) at the Central Park; the flagship project "Borneo SDG Health Carnival" on August 23 to 24 at Miri Boulevard Shopping Mall; the JCI Malaysia 50th Anniversary Run on September 16; and the highlight event "TOYM Awards Night" on September 19 at Pullman Hotel.
Yang Jun Neng called on everyone to continue to uphold the spirit of "igniting strength through unity," to jointly drive change and inspire generations.
