(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The Public Works Department (JKR) announced that maintenance work on the main pipeline of the 7th phase at the Bukit Barun Water Treatment Plant will begin at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6.
In a statement, the department said that the maintenance work is expected to take about 12 hours to complete. During this period, affected areas may experience water supply disruptions or low water pressure.
Affected areas include: Kampong Perpindahan Negara Lugu, Kampong Perpindahan Negara Lambak Kiri, Berakas Camp, parts of Kampong Lambak Kanan, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Defence Academy, parts of Kampong Tanah Jambu, and Kampong Salambigar.
The public, especially residents of the affected areas, are advised to make preparations in advance to minimize inconvenience caused by the water supply disruption. Residents who require water tankers can contact Talian Darussalam 123.
