(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) The children supported by the Community Welfare Council (MKM) recently bought school supplies through the "Back to School Program," their faces beaming with joy.
Since its launch in 2014, the program aims to ease the burden on MKM-assisted families in preparing for their children's schooling needs and to encourage MKM children to continue their studies, thereby improving their family lives.
The program benefits 45 MKM-supported children nationwide, aged between 5 and 19, including both primary and secondary school students. These children have the opportunity to purchase new school supplies needed for the 2026 academic year.
This list does not include students who are pursuing vocational or higher education. In addition to stationary, uniforms, and other school supplies, MKM also covers school registration fees.
This "Back to School" project was initiated by several kind-hearted individuals who entrusted MKM to help recipients from needy families.
Philanthropists are concerned about the welfare of these families, especially in terms of education. Their donations will help ease part of the school preparation expenses for these families.
