UMNO State Assemblymen Declare Loss of Confidence, Withdraw Support for Negeri Sembilan MB

(Negeri Sembilan, 27th) — Negeri Sembilan UMNO Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Jalaluddin announced that, in view of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin’s failure to properly handle the state constitutional crisis, UMNO has lost confidence in his leadership and has therefore decided to withdraw its support for the Menteri Besar!

Jalaluddin held a special press conference at about 10am on Monday (April 27) at UMNO Negeri Sembilan headquarters to announce that they no longer support the Pakatan Harapan Menteri Besar, Aminuddin.

“The Negeri Sembilan constitutional crisis has affected the state’s stability and harmony. Our 14 Negeri Sembilan UMNO state assemblymen have lost confidence in the Menteri Besar and have unanimously decided to withdraw our support for him.”

According to previous reports, the four major Undang (chiefs) of Negeri Sembilan condemned Aminuddin’s remarks about dismissing the Sungai Ujong chieftain, stating that he is no longer qualified to lead the Negeri Sembilan government administration and suggesting the replacement of the Menteri Besar.
