Recently, a 34-year-old Chinese woman surnamed Ji (transliteration) traveled to Pattaya, Thailand to attend a pool party as an escort. Unexpectedly, she sent a brief 'Help me' message to a friend and then lost all contact. Four days later, local Thai residents discovered a half-naked floating female body in a ditch more than 200 kilometers from the villa. Upon investigation, it was confirmed to be the missing Ji. The local police have since issued an arrest warrant for a Chinese male suspect.
According to "Sing Sian Daily" and various Chinese media reports, in the early morning of February 21st, 34-year-old Ji first sent her friend a precise location, then frantically followed up with the message 'Help me.' After that, she lost contact. Ji's husband, Zhang (transliteration), learned of her disappearance, and on February 23rd, he rushed to Thailand to assist police in searching for his wife.
Unfortunately, on the afternoon of the 25th, villagers in Ratchaburi found a decomposed female corpse, upper body naked and only wearing shorts on the lower body, in a coconut grove ditch. Police examination estimated she had been dead for 4 to 5 days, confirming she was the missing Ji.
According to local police investigation, Ji had accepted a companion job at a private villa pool party in Pattaya. Surveillance footage showed nothing unusual at first, but after the party ended, she was found unconscious. Police stated that Ji was last seen being dragged out of the villa by a man, who then drove a black BMW sedan to Ratchaburi—over 238 kilometers from the Pattaya villa.
Thai police have collected evidence and last Friday (March 13) issued an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Chinese national Zhao Tianxing (transliteration), accusing him of illegal detention resulting in death and moving or concealing a corpse.
