Kong: Embracing the Challenges of the Future AI Technology Aids Education Reform

(Miri, 11th) Chairman of SJK (C) CHUNG HUA LUTONG MIRI School Board, Kong San Hoe, stated that with the continuous advancement of AI technology, the technological sector in modern society is also constantly expanding. Educational methods and teaching models are undergoing significant reforms. Artificial intelligence can improve student learning efficiency, cultivate innovative capabilities and critical thinking, address the imbalance in educational resources, and reduce the workload of teachers.

He pointed out in his speech at the 2024 78th Annual Award and Graduation Ceremony (Majlis Penyampaian Sijil Dan Hadiah Yang ke-78 Tahun 2024) held at the school auditorium this morning that the application of artificial intelligence in the educational field still faces some challenges. Especially in the promotion process, its advantages need to be fully utilized while solving related issues to ensure comprehensive development and progress in education.

"Looking forward to 2024, AI technology is expected to bring a series of changes in the educational field, promoting the improvement of education quality and fairness, and creating more favorable conditions for the future."

While celebrating the students’ completion of six years of primary education, Kong San Hoe also addressed the graduates. Today, they have only completed a small part of their tasks; future challenges and obstacles await them. They need to continuously accept challenges, bravely face failures, and constantly improve themselves to lay a solid foundation for their future middle and high school life.

He especially thanked all the teachers for their hard work and dedication, appreciating their selfless educational spirit and attentive guidance and support for the students. Meanwhile, Kong San Hoe also thanked the former chairman and board members for their continuous support and donations, helping the school improve construction and ensuring a better learning environment.
