(Seria, 1st) The Brunei Hakka Association will be holding its 8th Anniversary Revival Celebration Banquet on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, at the Seria Chung Hwa Middle School Sports Hall. All members, fellow Hakka, families and friends from all walks of life are warmly invited to actively participate and celebrate this important milestone together.
The organizers stated that the evening will feature exciting programs such as singing and dance performances, lucky draws, and more, presenting guests with a warm and lively celebratory event. This will also bring the Hakka community closer and strengthen ties and exchanges among members.
The celebration banquet will have Ling Yongqiang serving as the General Chairperson and Rao Meiliang as Vice Chairperson. The Organizing Chairman will be Yang Chengji, with He Jianyuan as Vice Chairman. Preparations are already fully underway with committees set up for secretarial, finance, public relations and publicity, banquet entertainment, ticketing, venue, floor management, transportation, invitations, souvenirs, lucky draw, photography, emcees, and reception, all working to ensure the smooth running of the celebration.
Banquet tickets are priced at $50 each and are now officially on sale. The association encourages members and fellow Hakka to bring families and friends to purchase tickets and spend a warm, joyful, and memorable evening together.
