Malaysian YouTuber Ryu was accused of cheating on his Japanese wife Yuma in November last year. He later divorced and started dating Chinese artist Qin Sijing. On the 24th of this month, Qin Sijing announced their breakup, and late at night on the 28th, she accused Ryu of domestic violence on social media, claiming she couldn’t eat for a week and suffered from tinnitus for three months. Ryu even reportedly threw harsh words: "I really regret divorcing for you!" The incident began when Qin Sijing discovered Ryu contacting Yuma privately; both engaged in violence, sparking widespread discussion.
Qin Sijing posted late at night accusing Ryu of domestic violence, saying that during an argument, he shouted at her, "I really regret divorcing for you!" In anger, she threw a coaster at him, and unexpectedly, Ryu went into a rage and beat her, "One hand grabbed my hair, the other punched me. Later, because I fought back, you attacked me again, which resulted in me being unable to eat for a week and having tinnitus for three months."
Qin Sijing shared a selfie of her injuries, revealing this was evidence of Ryu's violence from March this year. “Another time was more recent, when I discovered you had changed Yuma’s nickname and were still in contact with her. You flew into a rage and tried to leave. I held onto your clothes and wouldn’t let go. Then you reached out and strangled me, leaving scratch marks on my face, chest, and arms." As of the time of writing, Ryu has not yet responded to the incident.
Last year, both Ryu and Yuma were caught in a cheating scandal. Yuma had an affair with Japanese internet celebrity ‘Tall Man’ Tommy. Although Yuma eventually asked Ryu for forgiveness, at that time Ryu had already connected with Qin Sijing. The two filmed a video in January this year announcing the end of their marriage. Many fans regret that the couple ultimately ended this way.
