1,108 People Register for O-Level and IGCSE

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 23rd) — The Brunei Ministry of Education, through the Examinations Department, has announced that the results for the May/June 2026 Brunei-Cambridge General Certificate of Education O-Level (GCE ‘O’ Level) and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations were released yesterday.
 A total of 1,108 candidates took part in this examination, of whom 763 were school candidates, and another 345 were private candidates.
 In terms of national results, 41 candidates achieved passes in at least 5 O-Level and IGCSE subjects, accounting for 3.70% of the total number of candidates; another 141 candidates achieved passes in at least 4 subjects, accounting for 12.73%.
 For school candidates, 41 students achieved passes in at least 5 O-Level and IGCSE subjects, making up 5.37% of school candidates; another 138 students achieved passes in at least 4 subjects, making up 18.09%.
 The Ministry of Education pointed out that school candidates may collect their result slips at their respective schools; private candidates may collect their result slips at the Examinations Department counter at the One-Stop Service Centre on the ground floor, Block C of the Ministry of Education during office hours. 
 In addition, for those interested in taking the October/November 2026 Brunei-Cambridge O-Level and IGCSE exams, late registration will be open until September 2nd (Wednesday).
