(Seria, 20th) The Chairman of the 94th Anniversary Celebration Organizing Committee of Seria Chung Hwa Middle School, Rao Meiliang, said in his speech that standing at this important milestone of the school's 94-year history, everyone should remember their roots and deeply honor the selfless dedication of the school’s founders and successive elders.
It was their foresight and perseverance during arduous times that laid the foundation, enabling Chung Hwa Middle School to pass down the torch and remain vibrant through the years. The spirit of these pioneers is an undying beacon in the hearts of all teachers, students, and alumni.
Chairman Rao remarked that the steady progress of the school over nearly a century would not be possible without the long-term support and deep affection for Chinese education from community leaders, enthusiastic alumni, and various organizations. He pointed out that the annual school anniversary is not only a day to celebrate the school's growth, but also a testament to countless education supporters’ generous contributions and assistance with school administrative expenses. “Every act of support is a guardianship of the heritage of Chinese education and an affirmation of the school’s educational philosophy.”
He expressed special thanks to all donors, the silent volunteer partners, the committee members dedicated to the preparations, as well as the teachers and students who performed in the evening’s program. He said that everyone’s talents made the evening even more wonderful, adding warmth and brilliance to the celebration.
“It is precisely because of everyone’s enthusiastic participation and selfless dedication that tonight’s celebration could be so splendid and complete.”
