Several swimming athletes set new personal best records. In the women’s 100m freestyle (Group 5) event, Sharmin Mohammad Maharwin finished sixth with a time of 1:01.19, setting a new personal best. There were a total of eight athletes in this group.
Meanwhile, although he ranked last, Zeng Zizheng also broke his personal best in the men’s 50m backstroke (Group 2) event with a time of 29.77 seconds.
He also competed in the men’s 100m freestyle (Group 1) event, finishing fourth among eight competitors with a time of 58.02 seconds, while his teammate Huang Weisheng finished fifth with a time of 59.04 seconds.
Huang Anwen also set a new personal record in the women’s 50m backstroke (Group 5) event with a time of 33.68 seconds; while Huang Anyu clocked 31.09 seconds in the women’s 50m backstroke (Group 2) event.
