South Korean superstar group BTS held their first world tour after completing their military service, kicking off on the 9th at the Goyang Sports Complex. Unexpectedly, prior to the second show on the 11th, shocking news broke that 500 admission wristbands had been stolen. The management company urgently responded and reported the incident to the police.
A man in his 50s took advantage of the chaos at the ticket counter around 3 p.m. on the 11th to steal 500 admission wristbands. Since the wristbands are required for access in and out of the concert venue and must be checked together with tickets, 'Big Hit Music' swiftly issued a statement saying: "Wristbands not obtained through the official identity verification counter cannot be used for entry." They also urged fans to immediately notify organizers or the police if they see wristbands being provided or sold at locations other than the official identity verification counter. The police have currently identified the suspect’s physical characteristics and are working hard to track his movements.
