Jensen Huang, President of American chip giant Nvidia, said in an interview with Chinese media, regarding the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping: "I hope this will be a very successful meeting."
According to CCTV News, Huang also said in the interview: "President Trump and President Xi have a very good relationship. We are very hopeful. We will continue to build upon their good relationship to further improve the relations between our two countries."
Huang joined Trump's visit to China at the last minute, as he is striving to maintain Nvidia's business presence in China.
Huang boarded Air Force One while it was refueling in Alaska. He is not visiting for sightseeing, but rather to safeguard his most important market stronghold.
