(Miri, 18th) — A traffic accident involving a four-wheel-drive vehicle and a local-made car occurred late at night on September 17 at the traffic light junction of Pujut 7th Road in Miri, resulting in two people being injured and sent to the hospital. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.

Upon arrival, it was found that the two injured victims, aged 29 and 24, who were in the local-made car, had already been extracted by police, the Civil Defence Force (APM), and Ministry of Health personnel. They were subsequently sent to the hospital for treatment, and their injuries were not life-threatening.
As for the driver of the four-wheel-drive vehicle involved in the accident, he was not at the scene. The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
In addition to the Fire and Rescue Department, the police (PDRM), Civil Defence Force (APM), and the Ministry of Health (KKM) were also involved in the rescue operation.
