On March 31, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a statement announcing that institutions in the Middle East associated with 18 American information and communication technology and artificial intelligence companies would be considered legitimate targets.
These 18 companies include Cisco, HP, Intel, Oracle, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and others.
The statement said that starting from 8:00 p.m. Tehran time (4:30 p.m. GMT) on April 1, these companies should expect that their relevant departments will be destroyed in retaliation for every assassination incident that occurs within Iran.
The statement advised employees of the aforementioned organizations to immediately leave their workplaces to ensure their own safety, and that residents living within a 1-kilometer radius of these organizations should also leave their homes and go to a safe location.
Siemens Branch in Israel Attacked
In addition, on March 31, the Iranian military issued a statement saying that it had used drones to attack the Israel-based branches of Germany's Siemens company and AT&T.
The statement said that in response to US and Israeli attacks on Iranian infrastructure, from the morning of the 31st, the Iranian military targeted the Siemens industrial software center near Israel's Ben Gurion Airport and AT&T's communications center in Haifa, Israel.
The statement pointed out that the Siemens industrial software center was developing artificial intelligence and industrial automation technology for the Israeli military to optimize weapon production lines and design military systems; AT&T’s communications center was developing advanced network technology, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence for the Israeli military.
