(Miri, 11th) Miri Mayor and Pujut State Assemblyman ADAM YII SIEW SANG stated that graduation is not only a milestone in the learning journey but also a new starting point on the road of life.
In his speech, he sincerely wished that every graduate would shine on the stage of life and write their own glorious chapter. He emphasized that no matter where the graduates go in the future, their alma mater will always be their strong support and will always be proud of them.
He also shared three expectations with the graduates as guidance for the future. First, persist in your dreams and pursue bravely. Mayor ADAM YII encouraged graduates to always maintain their original intentions and bravely pursue their dreams when faced with countless choices and challenges in life. As long as they keep their feet on the ground, they will surely create their own world; second, learn to be grateful and kind to others. He reminded graduates not to forget to thank the teachers, parents, and classmates who helped them along the way, and to give back to the society with love and kindness; third, keep learning and continue to grow.
ADAM YII emphasized that graduation does not mean the end of learning, but the beginning of a new round of learning. No matter where they are in the future or what profession they pursue, they should keep learning and improving themselves. Only continuous growth can adapt better to this ever-changing world full of opportunities. He wished the graduates a bright future!
