The Palestinian National Authority issued a statement on the 29th in the name of the State of Palestine, reiterating its commitment to work with the United States, regional countries, and partners to end the Gaza conflict through a comprehensive agreement, and pledging to complete reforms within one year after the end of the war.

This statement, released by the Palestinian News Agency, welcomed the efforts made by U.S. President Trump to end the Gaza conflict and emphasized that establishing a partnership with the United States is crucial to achieving regional peace.

The statement pointed out that the 'comprehensive agreement' aimed at ending the Gaza conflict will ensure adequate humanitarian aid to Gaza, the release of Israelis held captive and Palestinian prisoners, the establishment of mechanisms to protect the Palestinian people, respect for the ceasefire, and the guarantee of security for both Israelis and Palestinians. It will also prevent land annexation, ensure that Palestinians are no longer displaced, end unilateral actions in violation of international law, release Palestinian tax revenues withheld by Israel, and facilitate a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. The agreement will also pave the way for a just peace based on the 'two-state solution.'

The statement emphasized the Palestinian side’s commitment to fulfilling the obligations outlined in the New York Declaration, including completing the reform plan of the Palestinian National Authority and holding presidential and legislative council elections within one year after the end of the war. It will ensure that all candidates comply with the political program of the Palestine Liberation Organization, international commitments, and requirements of international law, as well as adhere to the principle of 'one system, one law, and one legitimate Palestinian security force.'

The statement said, 'We hope to establish a modern, democratic, and demilitarized Palestinian state committed to pluralism and the peaceful transfer of power.'

The statement noted that the Palestinian side is willing to engage in active and constructive contact with all parties to achieve regional peace, security, and stability.
