Penang DAP Socialist Youth (DAPSY) lodged a police report at the Seberang Perai Tengah police station regarding internet celebrity 'Female Dragon King' Sharul Immah's malicious slander against Chinese schools on social media, urging the police to promptly investigate and take legal action.

Penang DAPSY Chairman Teh Wai Hong stated that this pro-Perikatan Nasional internet celebrity deliberately accused Chinese schools of altering the national anthem "Negaraku" in her video, claiming that Perak State Executive Councilor and National DAPSY Chief Woo Kah Leong sang the national anthem in Mandarin with students during a Chinese school event. In fact, it was the Perak State Anthem "Allah Lanjutkan Usia Sultan," which shares the same melody as the national anthem but has different lyrics and is entirely sung in Malay.

In a statement released on Monday, he said that Sharul Immah was clearly aware that her video received strong criticism from all quarters. After realizing her lies were indefensible, she hastily apologized, citing "mishearing" as an excuse. She then continued to accuse those defending Chinese schools and Woo Kah Leong by widely spreading the video's content as "dark water army", making it obvious that her apology was merely to avoid legal responsibility, lacking genuine remorse.

He pointed out that Sharul Immah's actions completely disregarded the truth, solely aiming to demonize Chinese schools, with behavior enough to incite racial sentiments, create ethnic division, and disrupt social order and harmony.

He said the position of Penang DAPSY is very clear, believing that an apology cannot make up for the harm caused to the Chinese community by this incident. Therefore, Penang DAPSY hopes to correct Sharul Immah's erroneous actions through legal means, to prevent similar incidents from happening again, ensuring social harmony and order.

He stated that Penang DAPSY emphasizes that Malaysia is a multicultural society and that people of all ethnic groups should respect and tolerate each other. They call on the public not to easily believe videos or messages circulating online, and that any information should be verified before sharing to avoid misleading others or creating disputes.

Those present at the police report included Penang DAPSY Secretary Hong Ming Chuan, National DAPSY Organizational Secretary Lin Cheng Hang, Penang DAPSY Organizational Secretary Zhou Li En, and Penang DAPSY Deputy Secretary Ni Zhou Li, among others.
