During the opening ceremony of the Niah golf course, Miri Mayor Adam Yii pointed out that these new facilities showcase the grand vision of the development team and are highly aligned with Miri Municipal Government's advocated goals of being the "Best Livable City" and "International Resort City."
He said the opening of Dong Lin Valley Resort Hotel and the two golf courses not only adds valuable resources to attract high-end tourists and golf enthusiasts to Miri but also brings new vitality to the local economy, tourism, and sports leisure sectors.

"The establishment of the Mulu and Niah golf courses not only promotes the development of local golf but further enhances Miri's city image and overall attractiveness."

He specially thanked the founder of Dong Lin Golf Club, Dato Seri Liu Jiujian, Transport Minister Dato Seri Lee Kim Shin, and Deputy Minister of Tourism Dato Chen Chao Yao for their foresight and driving force throughout the project's development process. He also extended high recognition and gratitude to the Liu family and the Dong Lin team for their contributions to the development of Miri.

"Now, Miri has more high-quality golf course options, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy an international standard golfing experience locally. This not only enriches the lifestyle of the residents but further solidifies Miri's position as a golf tourism destination."
