US President Trump mentioned the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine on the 19th, warning that World War III is not far off, but it won't happen during his term.

Speaking at the Miami Investment Summit, Trump said, “I am taking swift actions globally to end wars, conflicts, and restore peace. I want peace, I don't want to see people dying.”

He continued, “Look at the victims in the Middle East and between Russia and Ukraine. We will end all of this. World War III is not good for anyone, and you are not far from this war. I am telling you right now, you are not far from this war. If the former President Biden's administration continues for another year, World War III will break out, but now this situation won’t happen.”

● Calls Zelensky a “Dictator”

Meanwhile, Trump described Ukrainian President Zelensky as a “minorly accomplished comedian” and “a dictator without elections,” echoing the rhetoric of the Russian side regarding the Ukrainian President.

On the 18th, the US and Russia held talks regarding the Ukraine-Russia war without Ukraine's participation, and on the 19th, the US and Ukrainian presidents exchanged words on social media.

“An unelected dictator, Zelensky better hurry up, or he will lose the nation,” Trump wrote on a social media website. “He refuses elections, his support rate is very low in Ukrainian polls, and the only thing he’s good at is playing Biden 'like a fiddle.'”

According to Bloomberg's report, Trump's remarks were the sharpest criticism of Zelensky since he returned to the White House and marked the latest sign of rapidly deteriorating US-Ukraine relations under Trump's administration.

● Zelensky: Trump Lives in Russian "Fake News"

After US and Russian diplomats held meetings in Saudi Arabia, Trump accused Zelensky of having only a 4% approval rating. Zelensky responded on the 19th, saying that Trump lives in a "bubble of fake information" from Russia.

AFP quoted Zelensky's comments to reporters: “Unfortunately, our respected American people's leader President Trump lives in this world of fake information.”

Trump called for presidential elections in Ukraine. Ukraine is currently under martial law, which prohibits holding elections. Zelensky pointed out that Trump's figures “come from Russia.”
