As the world anxiously awaited, Apple announced on the 20th the launch of a new model, iPhone 16e, the lowest-priced smartphone in the iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 16e features the latest A18 chip, the first Apple-designed cellular modem, providing fast and stable 5G connectivity, integrated with Face ID and equipped with satellite functionality. It boasts a 6.1-inch full screen and significantly increased battery capacity, allowing video playback for up to 26 hours.
The iPhone 16e also supports Apple Intelligence and runs on the iOS 18 core, supporting USB-C charging interface and wireless charging. It comes equipped with a 48-megapixel dual camera capable of capturing high-resolution photos and 4K video, supporting 2x optical zoom. The front is fitted with a ceramic shield, which is durable and offers four times more drop resistance than previous models. The iPhone 16e is available in black and white, with a 128GB model priced at approximately 5099 HKD (2913 MYR).
