A truck crashed into a bus station in the town of Glilot, north of Tel Aviv, Israel, on Sunday, injuring at least 24 people.
The Israeli emergency services said that 16 of the injured have been taken to hospital, with four in critical condition.
Police stated that preliminary investigation shows that the truck also hit a bus that was parked at the same location to let passengers off.
Police reported that people on site "shot and killed the truck driver."
Regardless, the authorities have not indicated whether the incident is an attack.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said that numerous pedestrians were trapped under the truck after the incident, and medical personnel provided preliminary treatment to the injured, some of whom remained trapped under the truck.
The Glilot area is the location of the Mossad, Israel's intelligence headquarters, and also hosts several intelligence departments of the Israeli Defense Forces, including the signal intelligence unit 8200.
