The JR Central Railway Company of Japan is celebrating Halloween by transforming a Tokaido Shinkansen train car into a 'Train to Busan' experience, featuring numerous actors dressed as zombies.

This special event is meticulously prepared by Japan's renowned haunted house design team, the Horror Squad.

The event kicks off shortly after the train departs from Tokyo Station en route to Osaka. More than 20 actors suddenly writhe in pain and transform into realistic zombies, covered in blood and clad in tattered clothes, pretending to attack the 40-plus passengers on board, making them feel like they are part of a movie plot.

During the approximately two and a half hour event, passengers are continuously scared by the realistic portrayal of terror, while also enjoying performances such as a zombie cheerleading squad, magic shows, and comedy acts interspersed throughout the journey. The event received unanimously positive feedback from participants.
