Online Influencer’s Claims About Top Stars Point to Tan Jianci: 5 Major Clues Match

Chinese internet celebrity Si Xiaodi posted an exposé on the 2nd, claiming she had slept with several top male celebrities in the industry, calling out names like Lu Han, Tan Jianci, Lin Gengxin, among others, but these were all refuted by their studios. Netizens, analyzing her exposed conversation with Tan Jianci, found clues, pointing out that the clothing and locations mentioned matched Tan Jianci’s public schedules, sparking many speculations.

Si Xiaodi made public her chat records with Tan Jianci, which netizens scrutinized in depth. She claimed that the white T-shirt Tan Jianci left at her house was indeed one he’d worn and had been photographed in; furthermore, a celebrity friend once posted a chat with Tan Jianci and found his WeChat profile picture matched the photo in Si Xiaodi’s chat screenshots; finally, Tan Jianci had once revealed in an interview that his favorite emoticon to use in chats was also the same as in the screenshot.

In addition, Si Xiaodi’s screenshots show a September 2021 chat record where Tan Jianci says he’s in Ningbo; netizens dug up Tan’s Weibo post at the time, which showed him uploading a food vlog from Ningbo. Next, in March 2022, a chat shows Tan saying he was in Hengdian getting ready to join a filming crew, and his drama “Lost You Forever” began filming at the same time—netizens pointed out these five big clues all matched reality, which stirred further discussion. In response to these revelations, Tan Jianci’s studio has issued a statement saying the allegations are "false and misleading,” and called for people not to believe rumors lightly.

On the 2nd, Si Xiaodi claimed to have slept with several top male stars and hinted at releasing more explicit photos, but what she posted late at night on the 3rd were two chat screenshots that looked like friendly exchanges. The other party in the chats appears to be Qu Chuxiao, who played the Fifth Prince Yongqi in the palace drama "Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace.” In her post, Si Xiaodi bluntly questioned Qu Chuxiao: "Are you feeling guilty now? Did you really commit domestic violence? Are you really a pervert? I’ve said enough good things for you—the reason someone’s not popular is always due to something…,” and tagged Qu Chuxiao’s account. Si Xiaodi published two screenshots of conversations, which seem like daily talk with Qu Chuxiao, and the two appear on friendly terms. However, Si Xiaodi wrote in the caption: “Are you feeling guilty now? Did you really commit domestic violence? Are you really a pervert? Later in the comment section, Si Xiaodi added that Qu Chuxiao indeed hit her friend’s friend, but that as they are friends, she had always helped him maintain his public image.

In late 2020, Qu Chuxiao was accused by a woman of domestic violence; the woman claimed to be his girlfriend and posted several photos showing what appeared to be bruises around her eyes, calling on Qu Chuxiao to “come out and solve the problem, don’t ruin me anymore!” She also posted a medical diagnosis sheet, suggesting she’d been beaten to the point of miscarriage; Qu Chuxiao’s lawyer denied all this at the time, stating the internet rumors of domestic violence were entirely baseless.
