The long-discussed scandal in the Korean entertainment industry involving Kim Soo-hyun's alleged underage relationship has finally reached its conclusion. Previously, he was embroiled in rumors with the late actress Kim Sae-ron and was even accused of violating the 'Child Welfare Act,' which severely damaged his public image. On the 29th, the Seoul Seongdong Police Station officially announced 'no transfer (acquitted),' confirming after a rigorous investigation that the rumor of 'dating a second-year middle school girl' was entirely fabricated, and the entire case has been completely overturned. The controversy began in May last year when Kim Sae-ron's family, together with the whistleblowing channel 'Horizontal and Vertical Research Institute' representative Kim Se-yi, jointly filed a report, publicly claiming they possessed recordings and conversation records of Kim Sae-ron before her death. However, police investigations revealed that these so-called 'solid proofs' were all doctored and fabricated forgeries.
