(Seria, 3rd) Malay Yee Chinese Middle School's “Year of the Dragon Spring Couplet Competition” saw participation from students ranging from Year 5 to Year 11. Around 532 students took part, divided into four main groups: Primary Chinese, Primary Non-Chinese, Secondary Chinese, and Secondary Non-Chinese categories.
Guests in attendance included Teacher Lim Kam Lok, Teacher Law Kok Hua, Acting Chairman of the Brunei Middle School Alumni Association Lim Yuan Tai, Acting Chairman of the Board Chen Yong Kui, Principal Zhang Gui Juan, Vice Principal Jiang Yun, Vice Principal Fei Li Xia, and Administrative Director Guo Yi Qun.
