(Miri, 8th) The service team of Sarawak's Deputy Minister of Tourism, Datuk Sebastian Ting, visited the Ramadan Bazaar at the Miri Indoor Stadium yesterday afternoon and distributed 1,100 aprons to vendors and the public.
The service team visited the Ramadan Bazaar from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, interacting with each stall’s vendors and distributing aprons to ensure hygiene during their business operations.
Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) Piasau Branch Youth Wing Deputy Secretary and Datuk Sebastian Ting's Private Secretary, Chia Kah Furng, stated that these aprons are prepared annually by Datuk Sebastian Ting to be distributed to vendors operating business during the Ramadan period.
“Besides encouraging vendors to jointly promote the cleanliness of the public environment, we also hope everyone can feel the festive atmosphere of Hari Raya during this festive season.”
He pointed out that they visited both the Lutong Ramadan Bazaar and the Miri Boulevard Shopping Complex for the distribution.
