Following his trip to Xiong'an New Area in Hebei, China, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vietnamese President Su Lin chose to take the high-speed train to Guangxi for a visit.
According to reports from Xinhua News Agency's client, on the morning of the 16th, Su Lin departed from Beijing by high-speed rail, embarking on the next leg of his visit in China.
After taking the 'Fuxing' high-speed rail to Xiong'an New Area on the 14th, Su Lin once again opted for the high-speed train to Guangxi. During this visit, Su Lin chose China's high-speed rail twice, fully demonstrating his keen interest in the development of China's high-speed rail construction.
It is reported that the high-speed rail journey from Beijing to Guangxi passes through several provinces such as Hebei, Henan, Hubei, and Hunan, with a distance exceeding 2,400 kilometers and a travel time of about 10 hours, allowing passengers to take in the boundless scenery of China and experience the myriad facets of Chinese modernization.
Guangxi is the only province-level region in China that shares both land and sea borders with Vietnam. It is said that "if you open the door, you see Vietnam; walk a couple of steps, and you enter ASEAN," making it a key gateway for bilateral exchanges and cooperation between China and Vietnam, as well as between China and ASEAN.
At the invitation of Xi Jinping, Su Lin arrived in Beijing on Tuesday morning to begin his four-day state visit to China.
