Lin Shuhua: Passing Down the Spirit of Family Unity—Creating a Bright Future Together for the Lin Clan

(Miri, 2nd) Sarawak Miri District Lin Clan Association President Lin Shuhua pointed out that the Lin lineage is long-standing and enduring, and that fostering familial harmony and mutual support has always been a cherished, generationally inherited spiritual foundation. No matter how times change, this familial bond and friendship will always closely connect members of the clan.
She expressed these sentiments last night while delivering a speech at the "Spring Festival Galloping Ahead, Lin Gathering as One" Lunar Bingwu Year Grand Reunion Dinner, organized by the Youth Group of the Sarawak Miri District Lin Clan Association.
She stated, "Spring Festival Galloping Ahead" signifies forging ahead energetically, while "Lin Gathering as One" symbolizes blood ties.
She said that tonight's gathering is not only a joyful festivity to celebrate the new year, but also an emotional convergence, a continuation of cultural heritage, and a renewed gathering of clan spirit.

Looking back at the past year, she expressed that, with the concerted efforts of all committee members and clan members, the association has made pleasing achievements in connecting relatives, promoting association affairs, participating in social welfare, and carrying forward clan culture.
She pointed out that all these accomplishments would not have been possible without the diligent foundations laid by previous pioneers, and even more so, without the long-term support and contributions from the clan. On behalf of the clan association, she extended heartfelt thanks and highest respect to all friends who are concerned about, support, and have contributed to the association's development.
Looking ahead to the new year, she said the clan association will continue to uphold the purpose of unity and mutual assistance and passing the torch, widely recruiting talents and gathering strength, to make the connections between clan members closer, and to help the younger generation better understand their roots, identify with their culture, and be bold in taking responsibility.
She looks forward to clan members uniting and working side by side in the new era, sharing the same vision and concertedly creating an even brighter and more prosperous future for the Lin clan.
