On the 22nd, Chinese actress Jing Tian was swept up in a shocking 'surrogacy agreement' scandal! Recently, Chinese media exposed that a certain female celebrity allegedly requested over 100 million TWD (around several tens of millions MYR) from a wealthy boyfriend under the pretense of surrogacy, but breached the contract midway. A bilingual (Chinese and English) surrogacy agreement from overseas circulating online even contains the name 'Tian Jing.' The news rapidly rocketed to the top of the trending charts. In response, Jing Tian's studio immediately issued a stern statement, denouncing all related claims as entirely false.
According to the entertainment blogger 'Entertainment Circle Di Pang Pang,' the exposé directly claims that a certain 'J celebrity' demanded over 100 million as payment for surrogacy from a wealthy boyfriend. The post directly names this 'J celebrity' as Jing Tian and also reveals what appears to be a contract from an overseas surrogacy agency.
Male Party Sues for 'Burning Bridges'
The exposé further alleges that on the day of egg retrieval, Jing Tian suddenly acted out of character, claiming to be on her 'period' and therefore unable to undergo the procedure. She then reportedly told her wealthy boyfriend over the phone that if he wanted her to remain in the US until her next cycle, he had to transfer her 50 million USD (about 198 million MYR) more.
This sky-high demand was immediately rejected by her boyfriend. After being rejected, it is alleged that Jing Tian then abruptly left without informing anyone, took a commercial flight home, and blocked the tycoon on all messaging platforms. The male party claims he invested about 20 million RMB (around 11.66 million MYR) in her beforehand, and then gave an additional 30 million RMB (about 17.49 million MYR) in preparation for the surrogacy—a total of 50 million RMB (about 29.15 million MYR). After returning home and blocking the tycoon, Jing Tian has reportedly not returned this money. It is said the wealthy ex-boyfriend has already commissioned lawyers to gather evidence and is preparing to sue Jing Tian.
