Korean Central News Agency reported on the 19th that Kim Yo-jong, Minister of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, said she knew "nothing at all" about the U.S. side’s information regarding recent communications between the leaders of North Korea and the United States.
Kim Yo-jong said that the U.S. hostile policy toward North Korea has not changed, and that the United States and its followers are still vigorously carrying out hostile military activities against North Korea. Therefore, although the leaders of the two countries maintain a good relationship, the sovereign actions North Korea takes to deter forces threatening its national security are very reasonable, appropriate, and necessary.
The Talk of North Korea Sending Troops is Groundless
Kim Yo-jong pointed out that Ukrainian President Zelensky's claim that North Korea is sending troops to Russia to participate in combat is utterly groundless and is entirely Ukraine's own "self-produced drama."
Zelensky had previously stated that Russia may bring in 30,000 to 50,000 soldiers from North Korea, and these personnel would learn from Ukraine’s experience in modern warfare.
