Taiwan's variety show veteran Hu Gua, who has worked in the entertainment industry for 40 years and amassed a fortune worth billions in New Taiwan Dollars, made headlines on the 18th for reportedly dividing his assets among his daughter, Hsiao Chen, and son, Hu Shian. He is said to have transferred ownership of luxury homes to his children. However, reports indicate that his wife, Ding Rou'an, who also serves as his manager, was not included in the allocation of assets. In response, Ding Rou'an later gave a composed five-word reply.
According to reports, Hu Gua owns six properties in total, including those in prime areas like Xinyi, Dazhi, and Shilin, with a combined market value exceeding 600 million NTD (approximately 86.26 million MYR). It is now reported that he has allocated one property each in the Xinyi district to his son and daughter. Additionally, he purchased high-value insurance policies for his children. However, one notable exclusion from the asset distribution list is Ding Rou'an. When asked about the matter, Ding Rou'an casually responded, "Haha, thank you!" seemingly indifferent to the rumors and maintaining a calm demeanor. As for Hu Gua, he did not provide a direct response to the reports, expressing frustration and stating that it is a family matter.
