Italian law enforcement discovered a body in the Funes Valley of the northern Dolomites mountains. The clothing and equipment found are largely consistent with those of the previously missing Chinese student surnamed Huang.
According to Xinhua News Agency, the Chinese Consulate General in Milan reported on the 31st that Italian police found the body and personal identification documents in the snow.
At present, the Italian side is further confirming the identity of the deceased.
The Chinese student surnamed Huang went missing in this area in January this year. Since the incident, the Chinese side has maintained communication with Italian authorities and has actively promoted search efforts.
The Chinese Consulate General in Milan stated that the relevant situation has been promptly communicated to the student's family. The consulate will continue to follow the progress of the case and provide necessary assistance to the family.
